First Ultrasound- 10 weeks 2 days!

Hello Everyone!!

I had my first ultrasound yesterday! It was incredible and everything went so fast which was awesome! I absolutely love my midwife, she is so sweet and gets right to the point about everything.

I was so nervous for this appoinment because I was scared that not only the heart would not be beating but I would find out that I was having a molar pregnancy, or maybe even that I wasn't pregnant(sounds silly but those of you who have had a previous miscarriage know exactly what I'm talking about)! Anyway, my simptoms have not been so bad, I just don't like eating very much, most foods just do not appeal to me.

My midwife had all positive things to say, the only things that made me a little bit nervous was that the baby was measuring 9 weeks 4 days instead of 10 weeks 1 day. I was then reassured that the baby not being right on target is COMPLETELY normal. They also informed me that I had lost some weight (5lbs) and needed to gain that back as soon as possible. I'm a small girl so I guess they just want to make sure that I have enough fat on me to carry a baby....FINE WITH ME:)

Headaches and more headaches

I had my first appointment this week on Monday!

It was more just like an orientation where they told me what to expect, what to eat, what not to eat, how much to sleep, and what I should expect on upcoming appoinments. They also have me some really cool books and flyers that were really helpful to both Stephen and I.

So this week I am in my 8th week! I will officially be 8 weeks on Sunday the 14th. The past couple of weeks have been a little rough. I have had a couple of days worth of morning sickness, and day sickness and middle of the day sickness......pretty much 24 hour sickness.

I think the worst part of the past couple of weeks has actually been the past couple of days, because I have had severe migrain headaches. I had two aweful ones yesterday and one this morning and it is just really interfiering with my day to day life. So I'm just praying that the headaches get better!


My next appointment will be a COMPLETE physical and I will also get to hear the baby's heartbeat and also see the baby. Unfortunately, Stephen will not be able to come due to the fact that he has work:(


Anyway i'll write in a couple more weeks!!



oh-and my belly is ALREADY growing!!!

Big News!

So....

Stephen and I have a HUGE announcement!

WE ARE PREGNANT!!

We found out on August 19th-So we have actually known for a little while. As most of you know, This is our 2nd pregnancy. Our previous pregnancy ended up in miscarriage- but no worries, our baby angel is waiting for us in heaven and we WILL meet our angel again soon!

Stephen and I are both SO excited-and of course extremely nervous. We are just hoping and praying for the best!

I've been feeling so awful lately with 24/7 "morning" sickness...it's HORRIBLE. I can definitely tell that my body in general is getting bigger.

Oh, I forgot to mention...I am currently in week 7 of my pregnancy! We are due....April 27, 2009

FUTURE APPOINTMENTS

-September 8, 9am I have my first Orientation at the hospital!!
